We are happy to announce that Malan Raut, a grassroots woman leader, farmer, & entrepreneur from SSP has been featured in Asar’s new publication titled ‘Rooted in Power: Women’s Grassroots Leadership & Climate Action in India’ (from page no. 59 to 76). This graphic narrative series aims to uncover powerful stories of hope, resilience, & transformative leadership at the frontlines of the climate crisis.

An excerpt from the publication includes: “In Maharashtra’s Marathwada region, Malan Raut, a determined farmer, practices the one-acre farming model championed by Swayam Shikshan Prayog.
