FPO Impact Awards 2025 winner under the category Vijayalakshmi Das Friend of Women FPO by ACCESS Development Services, a national livelihoods support organization
Manjiri Sakhi Farmer Producer Company #manjirisakhifpo supported by #SwayamShikshanPrayog has been awarded FPO Impact Awards 2025 as the winner under the category Vijayalakshmi Das Friend of Women FPO. The selection is based on the organization’s extraordinary performance, effective governance and commitment to promoting livelihoods of farmers.
Mrs. Dipali Kakasaheb Thodasare, Director of Manjiri Sakhi FPC, and Ms. Naseem Shaikh, CEO of #SwayamShikshanPrayog (SSP), attended the Livelihoods India Summit and together received the prestigious award on 4th December at New Delhi.
Manjiri Sakhi FPC is 100% women-led, with 2330+ shareholders and an annual revenue of ₹1.54 Cr. The FPC buys cereals, pulses from farmers and sells them in various markets. It has built multiple agri-business verticals — inputs, procurement, seed production & processing and established warehousing, grading & processing infrastructure. It has enabled interest-free credit and discounted farm inputs for farmers. It took the lead in leveraging the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Organic Certification Scheme, focusing on certifying 500 women farmers and bringing 1,000 hectares under organic farming in Dharashiv.
Manjiri Sakhi FPC resolves to continue its work in the promotion of women’s leadership in agriculture, ensuring that marginal farmers achieve profitability and long-term sustainability.
