Annapurnaโs early married life was filled with domestic violence and emotional struggles. In 2016, she returned to her maternal home, feeling lost and uncertain about her future. However, with the support of Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), she found a new purpose. Through training and mentorship, she gained confidence and started working as a community leader. Her dedication earned her recognition as a Taluka Leader, and she became a key figure in womenโs empowerment and sustainable farming.
She was honored with the Prema Gopalan Sakhi Prerana Award in Pune on 1st February 2025 for her contribution to empowering women in Bio-farming, Goat Farming, Biogas Promotion, Sustainable Livelihoods.
