In the drought-prone village of Chandrachi Met, having limited livelihood opportunities, Poonam Somnath Chandare has become a beacon of hope. Once earning โน25,000 annually through farming and labor, her life changed when she joined Swayam Shikshan Prayog SSP .At a village meeting organized by SSP, Poonam learned about the Eco-mini cook stove and biogas programs. These energy-efficient, smokeless solutions transformed daily life in her village, providing practical answers to cooking and energy challenges. Poonam not only embraced these technologies but also became a local advocate.
