Hiring Consultant to develop and Maintain the Management Information System of SSP

Project In Brief :

This project aims to establish a comprehensive management information system across sectors such as Agriculture, Agri-Allied, Microenterprises, and Skill Development, benefiting approximately 60,000-70,000 households.

Need :

Implementing projects with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) donors requires demonstrating the impact of the projects to ensure transparency and accountability. Utilizing data to showcase results is crucial for Swayam Shikshan Prayog(SSP) to maintain trust and credibility with donors and stakeholders. Here’s how a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) can help in demonstrating impact. In this regard, SSP is currently looking for a consultant/External Agency that can support the SSP Organization in building browser-based web application and Android-based Mobile application which includes project task management, donor relations, impact reporting, and activity tracking etc. The Consultant would work with the Director of Programs, the Programme Manager as well as MIS team to build to outline of all the components need to include in the MIS system.

Assignment In Brief

Key components of the project would be

Develop Browser based web applications and Android based Mobile application

A complete Project level interactive Dashboard based on KPIs

Establish a system to monitor and track progress in village action planning effectively.

Maintaining records and tracking task management

Build a Donor Management System

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational analyses.

Generate impact reports in an accurate and timely manner.

Training of the SSP team on Tool and Mobile Data Collection Platform

Import the compiled Backlog data according to the existing system

Contract Period:

The project will be for days and at the sole discretion of Swayam Shikshan Prayog management targeted for an year starting from 1st March 2024. The contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of the organization. And will be shared with shortlisted candidates upon request.

Qualification & Experience:

Consultant / Agency Must have prior experience in building Organizational and Project level Management Information Systems

Selection Process

A shortlist of a maximum of three consultants/Agencies will be established based on expressions of interest. The shortlist will be evaluated on the following criteria based on their updated resume, financial offer and their reference check by Swayam Shikshan Prayog:

Experience in working on similar projects.
Language proficiency (English, Hindi).
Organisation credibility and team profile

Preference will be given to Agencies having successfully handled similar assignments. Weightage will also be given to Agencies with whom Swayam Shikshan Prayog had a prior satisfactory association.

The final selection will be by a Management Committee of Swayam Shikshan Prayog, who may telephonically interview the shortlisted candidates and the decision of the Committee will be final and binding.

Only the shortlisted Agency shall be contacted. In case your profile does not match the aforementioned requirements, your application will be eliminated at the preliminary scrutiny stage and Swayam Shikshan Prayog is not obliged to send any communication in that regard and will not entertain any follow-ups in that regard.
