Project In Brief :

The projects intends to reach out marginal women farmers across the villages of 2 blocks in Latur and Osmanabad districts to create 500 New women entrepreneurs by training them and provide handholding support, along with supporting to create1000 retail as well as bulk buyers who will provide continuous business to the women entrepreneurs in the long run.

Need :

SSP is implementing two projects on Women’s Entrepreneurship supported by SPFPL CSR. Learning more about the project execution process and impact created will be crucial for future projects, which has led to plan Impact study of the said project.

In this regard SSP is currently looking for a consultant/External Agency who can support the SSP team in Conducting Impact study in terms of analyzing processes and systems, involved in project implementation, track impact (qualitative as well as quantitative). The Consultant would work with the Director Programs & Programme Manager to conduct impact study related activities.

Assignment In Brief

Key components of the project would be:

Develop Data collection tools, Interview tools and tests based on project outcomes.

To Conduct research / Data collection through field visit, conducting meetings with various stakeholders to understand the project impact effectiveness focusing project activities and outcome indicators.

To Analyse data collected, and create extensive Impct reports with suggestions.

Outputs And Deliverables:

Impact Report on overall processes and project impact of the Women Entrepreneurship programs as well as the access to water project of Swayam Shikshan Prayog.

Contract Period

CONTRACT PERIOD for the consultancy will be for three months and at the sole discretion of Swayam Shikshan Prayog management targeted starting date is 1st February 2022. Contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of the organization. And will be shared with shortlisted candidates upon request.

Qualification & Experience

Consultant / Agency must have enough qualification in conducting Impact study in social development /rural development

Consultant / Agency must have minimum 5 years of experience and expert team with demonstrated track record of keen interest to conduct the impact study.

Remuneration

REMUNERATION will be on the par with the norms in Social sector. Interested candidates are expected to make a financial offer of their minimum expectation.

Selection Process

A shortlist of maximum three consultants will be established based on expressions of interest. The shortlist will be evaluated on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume, financial offer and their reference check by Swayam Shikshan Prayog:

Academic qualifications

Years of project management and relevant economic development /sector experience

Experience in working with international organizations and Govt

Language proficiency (English, Hindi).

Preference will be given to candidates having successfully handled similar assignment. Weightage will also be given to candidates with whom Swayam Shikshan Prayog had prior satisfactory association.

Final selection will be by a Management Committee of Swayam Shikshan Prayog, who may telephonically interview the shortlisted candidates and decision of the Committee will be final and binding.
