Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) :

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), in partnership with Kind Care Foundation (Mankind Pharma), invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced vendors for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of 50 Solar Street Light Systems across 10 villages in Trimbakeshwar Block, Nashik District, Maharashtra. The project aims to improve rural safety, increase accessibility after dark, strengthen community infrastructure, and promote clean and renewable energy solutions.

Project Scope :

The selected vendor shall be responsible for:

Supply of Solar Street Light Systems
Supply of 50 complete Solar Street Light Units (5 units per village) including:
- High-efficiency Mono/Poly Crystalline Solar PV Module
- LED Luminaire with high lumen output
- Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LiFePO4) / equivalent long-life battery
- Galvanized Iron (GI) Pole with foundation structure
- Battery box and mounting accessories
- Automatic dusk-to-dawn controller
- Theft-resistant and weatherproof design
- Complete wiring and installation accessories
Installation & Commissioning :
- Site assessment and installation planning
- Transportation of materials to project locations
- Civil foundation work Installation, testing and commissioning
- Functional demonstration to village representatives
- Handing over of completed systems
Training & Capacity Building :
- Orientation and training for Village Committees and local operators
- User manuals and maintenance guidelines in Marathi and English
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance training
Branding & Visibility :
- The vendor shall install a permanent project signboard at designated locations displaying:

Technical Specifications (Minimum)

The proposed system should meet or exceed the following specifications:

Warranty	Minimum 5 Years

Vendors may propose higher specifications with proper justification.

Deliverables :

The selected vendor shall provide:

Supply and installation of 50 functional solar street lights
Testing and commissioning report
Installation completion certificate
Warranty certificates
Product catalogues and technical datasheets
Training completion report
Maintenance schedule
Final handover report

Warranty & Maintenance Support :

Minimum comprehensive warranty of 5 years.
Vendor shall provide preventive and corrective maintenance during the warranty period. t
Any system failure should be attended within 72 hours of complaint registration.
Quarterly maintenance visits shall be conducted and documented.

Payment Terms :

30% Advance upon contract signing
30% Upon delivery of materials
30% Upon successful installation and commissioning
10% After 3 months of satisfactory performance

Applicable taxes including GST should be clearly mentioned in the quotation.

Eligibility Criteria :

Interested vendors should meet the following criteria:

Organizational Requirements:

Registered Company/Firm/Agency
Valid GST Registration
PAN Registration
Minimum 5 years of experience in solar energy solutions
Experience in rural infrastructure projects preferred

Technical Experience :

Successfully completed at least 3 similar solar lighting projects during the last 5 years
Experience with government, CSR, NGO, or community-based projects preferred
Availability of local service support in Maharashtra

Evaluation Criteria :

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

Preference will be given to vendors demonstrating strong technical capability, sustainability commitment, and value for money.
