Mushroom Livelihoods Training for Rural Beneficiaries

About the Project:

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) is implementing a holistic development initiative in 10 villages of Trimbakeshwar Block, Nashik District. As part of this initiative, a Mushroom Livelihoods Activity will be conducted to promote income generation and sustainable livelihoods among rural women.

We invite experienced and qualified vendors or resource persons to conduct training and handholding support for mushroom cultivation for 20 selected beneficiaries across 10 villages.

Scope of Work:

• Supply and installation of mushroom farming structures, including mushroom sheds and beds.
• Provision of essential materials and equipment for mushroom cultivation, including: .
• Mushroom Spawn (Oyster Mushroom)
• Formalin (Grade-A1)
• Plastic bags (P.P. Bags)
• Bed hangers (Nylon Rope, PVC Pipe)
• Digital Temperature and Humidity Measurement devices
• Spray pump (2 L capacity)
• Basic tools such as rubber gloves, scissors, and cutters
• Selection of mushroom varieties
• Preparation of substrate and spawn management
• Maintenance, harvesting, and post-harvest handling
• Marketing and value addition for mushroom products
• Monitor the economic and social impact on women farmers and their households.
• Provide follow-up support and mentoring for beneficiaries to ensure successful production.

Other Services Included:

• Training expenses for beneficiaries
• Resource person charges for conducting the training
• Travel support for training activities
• Processing and handling of mushroom cultivation outputs

Eligibility Criteria for Vendors/Resource Persons:

• Proven experience in mushroom cultivation and rural livelihood promotion.
• Ability to train and mentor 20 beneficiaries across 10 villages.
• Knowledge of sustainable and cost-effective cultivation techniques.
• GST registration and valid trade license (for vendors).
• Strong communication and teaching skills.

• Quotation for conducting the Mushroom Livelihoods Activity (excluding prices for items).

• Technical expertise and experience in mushroom cultivation
• Ability to provide comprehensive training and follow-up support
• Past performance and community impact
