Vendor Selection for Supply & Installation of Sanitary Pad Vending Machines in Trimbakeshwar, Nashik

About The Project :

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), in collaboration with Mankind Pharma, is implementing the Prosper Project in 10 villages of Trimbakeshwar, Nashik to improve menstrual hygiene and access to sanitary products for rural women and girls. As part of this initiative, SSP invites reputed and experienced vendors for the supply, installation, and maintenance of sanitary pad vending machines at key village locations, including schools, community centers, and health facilities.

Scope of Work:

SSP seeks vendors for:

• Supply & installation of automated sanitary pad vending machines at designated locations.
• Providing sanitary pad disposal units for safe and eco-friendly waste management.
• Training local women on machine operation, maintenance, and restocking.
• Ensuring timely maintenance & servicing to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Vendor Responsibilities::

• Supply high-quality, durable, and user-friendly sanitary pad vending machines.
• Ensure machines are solar-powered or battery-operated for reliable operation in rural areas.
• Provide training sessions for local women on machine usage, refilling, and basic maintenance.
• Offer after-sales service, maintenance, and spare parts support.
• Ensure timely delivery and installation at designated locations.
• Support in linking local entrepreneurs to supply chain networks for sanitary pads.

Eligibility Criteria for Vendors:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or supplying hygiene-related machines.
• Proven track record in health & hygiene initiatives or government/community projects.
• Ability to provide training, demonstration, and maintenance support.
• Commitment to quality assurance, sustainability, and user-friendly technology.

Deliverables:

• Supply and installation of sanitary pad vending machines & disposal units.
• Training for women entrepreneurs on machine management and menstrual health awareness.
• Service & maintenance plan for continuous operation.
• Submission of a detailed implementation plan & sustainability model.
