Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), in partnership with AFCONS Infrastructure Limited, is implementing the project titled “Empowering Rural Women through Sustainable Entrepreneurship – 1000 Women Entrepreneurs Mission” in 40 villages of Bhoom Block, Dharashiv district.

To ensure quality implementation and measurable impact, SSP invites proposals from qualified and experienced experts/agencies to undertake Monitoring, Evaluation and Report Preparation for the project.

About the Project :

The initiative aims to build the entrepreneurial capacities of 1,000 rural women by supporting sustainable agri-based and allied enterprises. The project focuses on improving income, strengthening business skills, and enhancing women’s economic and social empowerment.

Objective of the Assignment :

The purpose of this assignment is to:

• Assess the effectiveness and impact of the project
• Measure changes in women’s income, enterprise growth, and decision-making
• Document key learnings, outcomes, and recommendations
• Provide evidence-based insights for future scale-up and improvement

Scope of Work:

The selected expert/agency will be responsible for:

• Designing a comprehensive Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework
• Reviewing baseline data and developing evaluation tools
• Conducting endline evaluation across 40 villages
• Undertaking field visits, stakeholder consultations, and beneficiary interviews
• Collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data (business growth, income changes, social empowerment, market access, etc.)
• Preparing a detailed final evaluation report with findings, case studies, and recommendations
• Delivering a presentation of key findings to SSP and AFCONS

Eligibility Criteria :

Interested experts/agencies must have:

• Proven experience in Monitoring & Evaluation assignments
• Prior work experience in rural development, livelihoods, entrepreneurship, or women empowerment projects
• Strong expertise in research design, data analysis, and report writing
• Availability of a qualified technical team capable of conducting field assessments
• Experience working with CSR-funded or large-scale development projects (preferred)
