SSP is looking for a consultant for the engagement and providing consultancy services with video editing for the project based on the multisectoral approach of Welthungerhilfe – “Linking Agriculture and Natural Resources towards Nutrition Security (LANN)” for Swayam Shikshan Prayog

About SSP Organization:

Swayam Shikshan Prayog formally registered in 1998 as a Trust under the Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950 (Registration No. F20262), drawing strength from our early learnings during the community-led reconstruction partnership after the Latur earthquake in 1993. For the last 24 years, SSP has facilitated sustainable community development by building capacities of grassroots women’s collectives to lead social and economic transformation in climate threatened regions of India. SSP widely advocates for changing public policy in favour of recognizing grassroots women’s collectives in their new roles as community resource persons / community level facilitators, leaders and shares these learnings widely with peer networks and institutions globally. SSP made a choice to focus its efforts to build women as change makers in water-scarce, drought-prone regions across seven states of India. Today, majority of its efforts are with women’s farmer collectives in the Marathwada region in Maharashtra. SSP has reached out to over 6 million people, and empowered over 300,000 women mostly from farming communities to revitalise agriculture and enterprise, and take on the roles of decision makers in their households, communities and local economies (https://swayamshikshanprayog.org/).

About The Project :

Breaking the chain – A Multisector Approach to Address Malnutrition in Maharashtra.
