Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) is implementing the project titled Marathwada District Transformation Model for the period of 01/10/2022 to 31/03/2025 supported by Hindustan Unilever Foundation. During the project period, SSP will implement a Sustainable Water for Agriculture model to improve water security and wellbeing of 1 lakh women farmers in the drought prone Marathwada region. The organisation will create a grassroots cadre of progressive farmers called Sakhis who will expand their well-established 1-Acre bio-farm model in over 500 villages of Osmanabad district. The cadre will also mobilise village communities to plan and implement regionally appropriate water conservation infrastructure in 200 Gram Panchayats of Osmanabad district.
Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) is assisting the project titled Market exploratory Study on selected Agriculture Products in Osmanabad District, Maharashtra for the period of 01/02/2023 to 31/03/2023 supported by Sallapudi.David Brynerd. During the project period, the client has to conduct the market exploratory study on select Agriculture Products in Osmanabad District, Maharashtra and submit the final report (100 Pages) to SSP.
Based on the requirement of the assignment, the consultant would be appointed to conduct the Market exploratory Study on select Agriculture Products in Osmanabad District, Maharashtra. The consultant is expected to deliver the following during the agreement period:
Contract period for the consultancy will be starting on the MoU signing date and will be completed on 31st March, 2023 and at the sole discretion of Swayam Shikshan Prayog management targeted during the project period. Contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of the organization.
Post Graduation qualification in social development /rural development from a reputed Institution. Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in development sector & consultant must have demonstrated track record of keen interest.
Remuneration will be on par with the norms in the Social sector. Interested candidates are expected to make a financial offer of their minimum expectation.
Offers will be accepted by individual consultants, commercial companies, NGOs and academics until the fill in date.
Applicants have to provide a financial bid. The financial part includes a proposed budget for 10 to 12 of work that includes data cleaning, analysis and report writing. It should state the fees per working day (plus the respective VAT, if applicable), the number of working days proposed and other costs. Proof of professional registration and taxation is also required (e.g. by providing the evaluator(s) tax number). Cost of logistics, stationery, transport etc. must be included in the budget. A shortlist of maximum three consultants will be established based on expressions of interest. The shortlist will be evaluated on the basis of their updated resume, financial offer and their reference check by Swayam Shikshan Prayog:
Preference will be given to candidates having successfully handled similar assignment. Weightage will also be given to candidates with whom Swayam Shikshan Prayog had prior satisfactory association.
Final selection will be by a Management Committee of SSP, who may telephonically interview the shortlisted candidates and decision of the Committee will be final and binding.
