Project In Brief :
SSP intends to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among women across the project location and boost the rural economy by enhancing women’s contribution by creating more and more enterprises in agriculture and agri-allied sectors. The entrepreneurship development project aims to build an entrepreneurial mindset among women, build financial literacy and digital literacy, and create avenues to access the market and link with financial as well as government institutions.
Need :
SSP is looking for consultants who can provide consultancy services for conducting the need assessment and preparation of the concept note & detailed project report. This would include designing the needs assessment protocol, imparting required training to the field staff on methodologies to be employed in field research, supervising the data collection exercise, data analysis, conduct of the feedback and logical framework workshop and preparation of reports and proposal.The projects being implemented are very well handled by the existing staff, however, to take it to the next level and create sustainable models of businesses require specific skillset; and pure business.
SSP is implementing multiple projects for CSR donors, learning more about the project execution process efficiently, and trying new possibilities to create the best modules that will be helpful to implement the similar project across the SSP project locations impact-fully.
In this regard SSP is looking for a consultant/ External Agency that can support the SSP team in building strategies to implement entrepreneurship programs, access markets, create business plans, and support to scale the businesses. The Consultant would work with the Director Programs and Program Manager.

The project will be for 6 months and at the sole discretion of Swayam Shikshan Prayog management’s targeted starting date is 1st July 2022 till 31st Dec 2022. The contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of the organization and will be shared with shortlisted candidates upon request.
A shortlist of maximum three consultants will be established based on expressions of interest. The shortlist will be evaluated on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume, financial offer and their reference check by Swayam Shikshan Prayog:
Preference will be given to candidates having successfully handled similar assignment. Weightage will also be given to candidates with whom Swayam Shikshan Prayog had prior satisfactory association.
Final selection will be by a Management Committee of Swayam Shikshan Prayog, who may telephonically interview the shortlisted candidates and decision of the Committee will be final and binding.
Only shortlisted candidates shall be contacted. In case your profile does not match with the aforementioned requirements, your application will be eliminated at preliminary scrutiny stage and Swayam Shikshan Prayog is not obliged to send any communication in that regard and will not entertain any follow ups in that regard.
