Project In Brief :

SSP is currently implementing 2 longitudinal projects for International institutional donors. In this regard SSP is currently looking for a consultant who can support the SSP team in Project management in terms of outcome reporting, impact tracking and building on strategic frameworks for future programme management . The Consultant would directly work with the senior management and the Board of directors at SSP to facilitate creation of project tracking and reporting framework.

Need :

SSP is looking at a consultant who can give an external overview and expertise in improving the existing project management and tracking system in SSP. The candidate will be expected to work on 2 leading international donor projects with institutional donors.

Assignment In Brief

Key components of the project would be:

Undertake study of the present project management and reporting framework presently operational in the field

Organize internal workshops with various stakeholders to better understand in field challenges in operationalizing the project management, tracking and reporting

Developing a strategic roadmap and documentation with these inputs to improve the on field project management, tracking and reporting

Field team handholding and training on the new reporting system framework

Monitoring of the system in periodic intervals to ensure its in line with senior leadership, management and donor reporting frameworks

Periodic audits of the system to be conducted to ensure its effective usage

Suggestions to adopting mix of online and offline tools to ensure effectiveness of the tracking

Instituting a beneficiary tracking system which can later be adopted by SSP as a part of its regular project mapping at the organizational level

Report on Data management and impact tracking of the Agriculture and Entrepreneurship programs of Swayam Shikshan Prayog

Contract Period

CONTRACT PERIOD for consultancy will be for 12 months or project period based on performance and at the sole discretion of Swayam Shikshan Prayog management targeted starting date is 1st February 2022. Contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of organization. And will be shared with shortlisted candidates upon request.

Qualification & Experience

Post Graduation qualification in social development /rural development from a reputed Institution. Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in development sector and consultant must have demonstrated track record of keen interest.

Remuneration

REMUNERATION will be on par with the norms in Social sector. Interested candidates are expected to make a financial offer of their minimum expectation.

Selection Process

A shortlist of maximum three consultants will be established based on expressions of interest. The shortlist will be evaluated on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume, financial offer and their reference check by Swayam Shikshan Prayog:

Academic qualifications
Years of project management and relevant economic development /sector experience
Experience in working with international organizations and Govt
Language proficiency (English, Hindi).

Preference will be given to candidates having successfully handled similar assignment. Weightage will also be given to candidates with whom Swayam Shikshan Prayog had prior satisfactory association.

Final selection will be by a Management Committee of Swayam Shikshan Prayog, who may telephonically interview the shortlisted candidates and decision of the Committee will be final and binding.
