Supply & Installation of Smokeless Cook Stoves under Clean Energy Initiative

PROSPER Project – Trimbakeshwar Block, Nashik District, Maharashtra :

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), in collaboration with Kind Care, invites proposals from experienced, technically qualified, and capable vendors for the supply, installation, training, and after-sales support of smokeless cook stoves under the Clean Energy Entrepreneurship Initiative in Trimbakeshwar Block, Nashik District, Maharashtra.

As part of the PROSPER Project, SSP is implementing clean energy solutions across 10 villages of Trimbakeshwar Block to improve household health, reduce indoor air pollution, decrease dependence on traditional inefficient cooking methods, conserve forest resources, and promote local clean energy entrepreneurship opportunities.

Under this initiative, SSP plans to install 200 smokeless cook stove units in selected rural households within a project period of one year.

Scope of Work for Selected Vendor:
  1. Supply of Smokeless Cook Stoves
    • Supply good quality, durable, and efficient smokeless cook stove units suitable for rural households.
    • Ensure stoves are designed according to local cooking practices and fuel availability.
    • Provide technical specifications, efficiency details, and product information.
  2. Installation & Demonstration
    • Complete delivery and installation of cook stoves at beneficiary households in selected villages.
    • Demonstrate proper usage, safety measures, and maintenance practices.
    • Ensure proper installation for better performance and durability.
  3. Training & Capacity Building
    • Provide training to local clean energy entrepreneurs and community members on:
      1. Installation process
      2. Stove operation and maintenance
      3. Basic repair and troubleshooting
    • Provide user manuals and IEC materials in the Marathi language..
  4. After-Sales Support & Quality Assurance
    • Provide warranty and service support after installation.
    • Conduct follow-up visits to ensure proper functioning and user satisfaction.
    • Address technical issues within a reasonable timeframe.
