Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), in collaboration with Mankind Pharma, invites experienced and capable vendors to partner in implementing a clean cooking solution project in 10 villages of Trimbakeshwar Block, Nashik District, Maharashtra.

This initiative aims to improve household health, reduce indoor air pollution, conserve forests, and promote local clean energy entrepreneurship by supplying and installing 300 smokeless cook stove units over a period of one year.

Scope of Work:

We are seeking vendors who can supply, install, and support durable, affordable, and environmentally friendly smokeless cook stoves through a local clean energy entrepreneurship model.

Cook stoves must:

• Significantly reduce indoor air pollution and fuel consumption
• Be user-friendly, robust, and suitable for rural households
• Support traditional cooking practices using firewood and agri-residue
• Offer long-term cost and health benefits

 

Vendor Responsibilities:

1. Supply of Cook Stoves
   • Provide high-quality smokeless cook stoves meeting safety and efficiency standards
   • Ensure suitability for rural cooking habits
2. Training & Capacity Building
   • Train local clean energy entrepreneurs on stove usage, installation, and maintenance
   • Provide user manuals and IEC material in local language (Marathi)
3. Delivery & Installation
   • Ensure timely delivery and proper installation in all selected villages
   • Install stoves to maximize performance and durability
4. After-Sales Support & Quality Assurance
   • Provide warranty and post-installation service support
   • Conduct follow-ups to ensure continued functionality
