Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) is a leading NGO working in rural development, with a focus on livelihoods, health, clean energy, and education. Through the Prosper Project, SSP aims to empower women farmers by supporting sustainable goat farming as a livelihood opportunity.

Purpose:

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), in collaboration with Mankind Pharma under the Prosper Project, invites qualified vendors to participate in the tender process for the supply of healthy, fully vaccinated goats, transport, and training support for women beneficiaries in 10 villages of Trimbak Block, Nashik District.

Scope of Work:

The selected vendor will be responsible for:

• Supply of 80 goats (Ushmanabadi breed)
  • Age: 7–10 months
  • Weight: 15–20 kg (minimum)
  • Fully vaccinated (PPR, FMD, Enterotoxaemia) and dewormed.
• Transportation & safe delivery of goats to designated village locations.
• Provision of vaccination medicines and veterinary support.
• Conducting one-day training for 40 women beneficiaries on:
  • Goat management and feeding practices.
  • Disease prevention and breed improvement.
  • Housing and care guidelines.
  • Submission of quality assurance reports (health certificates, vaccination details, weight records) at the time of delivery.

Key Deliverables:

1. Timely and high-quality supply of goats and medicines.
2. Use of certified and government-approved vaccines.
3. Adherence to animal health & livestock norms.
4. Regular coordination with SSP’s project team.

Vendor Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in livestock supply or goat farming.
• Proven track record of supplying healthy, vaccinated goats with veterinary support.
• Availability of skilled workforce and capacity for transport and training.
• Ability to provide detailed quotations with cost breakdowns.
• Compliance with government livestock health regulations.
