Supply, Installation, and Capacity Building for Smart School Infrastructure in Trimbakeshwar Block

Need :

Need Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) seeks qualified vendors for the development and implementation of smart school infrastructure across three schools in three villages of the Trimbakeshwar block, Nashik district. This project aims to modernize rural educational facilities by integrating advanced learning tools and digital infrastructure, thereby enhancing educational outcomes and digital literacy among students.

The selected vendor will also be responsible for ongoing technical support, teacher training, and after-sales service to ensure long-term functionality and sustainability of the installed systems.

About the Project:

With support from Mankind Pharma, SSP is implementing the Smart School Development Project in three selected villages of Trimbakeshwar block. The goal is to equip three government or Zilla Parishad schools with smart learning tools and build the capacity of local educators in using digital tools effectively. The project will emphasize interactive, inclusive, and student-centered learning.

Assignment in Brief:

Vendors are required to supply, install, and commission smart classroom infrastructure and provide training and maintenance support throughout the contract period.

Outputs and Deliverables:
  1. Supply and Installation:
    • Equipment: Interactive boards, projectors, audio-visual systems, tablets/smart devices.
    • Installation: Complete setup at three schools in three villages in Trimbakeshwar block.
  2. Training and Support:
    • Conduct in-person training for teachers on smart tools, lesson integration, and troubleshooting.
    • Provide multilingual (including Marathi) user manuals and SOPs.
    • Ensure on-call technical support and regular maintenance services.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Equipment must meet Indian and international educational standards.
    • All devices must come with a minimum 5-year warranty.
  4. Delivery & Installation Timeline:
    • Implementation as per mutually agreed work schedule; preference for vendors ready to mobilize quickly.
  5. Payment Terms:
    • 50% on contract signing
    • 25% on delivery
    • 25% after successful installation and commissioning
  6. Confidentiality & Liability:
    • The vendor shall maintain confidentiality regarding SSP’s data and project materials.
    • SSP holds the right to terminate the contract with a 30-day notice, with provisions for force majeure.
Contract Duration:

From the signing date until March 2026, extendable based on performance and project continuity.

Qualification & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing smart classrooms in rural or semi-urban areas.
  • Proven record of after-sales service and support.
  • Demonstrated alignment with educational development and digital literacy.
