Dipali’s journey is a true example of women driving rural transformation!

Swayam Shikshan Prayog’s Sakhi (village leader), Dipali Jadhav from Umara Village, Kallam Block, Dharashiv, has been recognized for her incredible efforts in water conservation and sustainable agriculture!

Her dedication led to her appointment as Secretary of the Village Development Committee by the Gram Panchayat. She was also invited as the chief guest at the Jal Surakshit Gaav, Atma Nirbhar Gaav Yojana program, where she addressed the audience in the presence of the District CEO and officials. Her work was honoured with a special felicitation!

With training on watershed management from Swayam Shikshan Prayog, Dipali played a key role in Gram Panchayat Development Planning (GPDP), conducting PRA, Transect Walk, and identifying crucial water conservation needs. She is working with 200 farmers to promote water-saving agricultural practices and has helped install 30 vermicompost beds and 30 biogas units, supporting organic farming and clean energy.
