Hiring Consultant for conducting Impact Study of Women Entrepreneurship

Project In Brief :

The project intends to reach out marginal women farmers across the villages of 4 blocks to create 300 New women entrepreneurs by training them and provide handholding support to 1011 previous cohorts of women entrepreneurs to continue business to the women entrepreneurs in the long run under the project “TO STRENGTHEN EXISTING AS WELL AS POTENTIAL WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS THROUGH BUILDING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING.”

Need :

SSP is implementing 3 longitudinal projects for CSR donors, and learning more about the project execution process, impact created will be crucial for future project, which has led to plan Impact study of the said project. In this regard SSP is currently looking for a consultant/External Agency who can support the SSP team in Conducting Impact study in terms of analyzing processes and systems, involved in project implementation, track impact (qualitative as well as quantitative). The Consultant would work with the Director Programs & Programme Manager to conduct impact study related activities.

Assignment In Brief

Key components of the project would be

Form Digitization/Programming on Survey CTO*- Around 188 questions
Online Training of Volunteers on Tool and Mobile Data Collection Platform (SurveyCTO)
Data Cleaning and Data Analysis- around 100 variables
Findings and Recommendations Basic Report-25 pages
Optional: Data Dashboard (on Google Data Studio)- Around 100 variables

Contract Period:

The project will be for 45 days and at the sole discretion of Swayam Shikshan Prayog management targeted starting date is 5th March 2023. Contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of the organization. And will be shared with shortlisted candidates upon request.

Qualification & Experience:

Post Graduation qualification in social development /rural development from a reputed Institution. Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in development sector & consultant must have demonstrated track record of keen interest.

Consultant / Agency Must have prior experience in conducting Impact study in rural set up.
Consultant / Agency Must possess professional writing skills and advance technological skills required for creating quality impact report.

Remuneration:

The budget for conducting Impact study is 1.7 Lakhs including all the expenses and taxes.

Selection Process

A shortlist of maximum three consultants/Agencies will be established based on expressions of interest. The shortlist will be evaluated on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume, financial offer and their reference check by Swayam Shikshan Prayog:

Experience in working with international organizations.
Language proficiency (English, Hindi).
Organisation credibility and team profile

Preference will be given to Agencies having successfully handled similar assignments. Weightage will also be given to Agencies with whom Swayam Shikshan Prayog had prior satisfactory association.

Final selection will be by a Management Committee of Swayam Shikshan Prayog, who may telephonically interview the shortlisted candidates and the decision of the Committee will be final and binding.

Only shortlisted Agency shall be contacted. In case your profile does not match with the aforementioned requirements, your application will be eliminated at preliminary scrutiny stage and Swayam Shikshan Prayog is not obliged to send any communication in that regard and will not entertain any follow-ups in that regard.
