SSP emphasizes on Farmer Producer Organisations established and strengthened with membership benefits and marketing finance linkages and government systems for scaling up presence in selected value chain businesses in rural districts.

A successful candidate should bring experience in leadership skills, strategy, sales, account management, business development, development of new products and solutions, etc. He/she should have strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills, along with a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate and work effectively and efficiently with various team members.

Outputs And Deliverables:

• Farmer Producer Organisations established and strengthened with membership benefits and marketing finance linkages rural Maharashtra.

• Farmer-producers trained on robust farming, procurement protocols and resource linkages in selected value chains.
•  
• Local sales marketing support teams developed to support FPOs in linking to larger markets.
•  
• Forged linkages of producer groups to relevant market and government systems for scaling up presence in selected value chain businesses.
•  
• Women entrepreneurs linked to credit which will enhance increase in their incomes

 

Contract Period

Contract period for consultant would be for a six months period from 01st December 2021 to 31st May 2022. Contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of organization. And will be shared with shortlisted candidates upon request.

Qualification & Experience

Post graduation and above qualification in Finance or Marketing Management with minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in similar assignments.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be on par with the norms in the Social sector. Interested candidates are expected to make a financial offer of their minimum expectation.
