Vendor Selection for Water Infrastructure Development in 10 Villages of Trimbakeshwar Block

Objective:

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) is implementing a holistic development project in 10 villages of Trimbakeshwar block, Nashik district, focusing on water security as a key intervention. We are seeking experienced and reliable vendors to design, construct, and implement water infrastructure projects, including watershed management structures, drinking water systems with solar pump integration, and other water conservation measures.

Scope of Work:
  1. Watershed Management Infrastructure: Construction of check dams, contour trenches, and water storage facilities.
  2. Safe Drinking Water Systems: Installation of solar pump-operated water systems.
  3. Water Conservation Measures: Creation and repair of bunds, plantation around water sources, and recharge pits for groundwater replenishment.
  4. Technical Support: Conduct hydrological studies to identify suitable locations and ensure the sustainability of water infrastructure.
    Community
  5. Collaboration: Engage with village-level water committees for effective planning and implementation.
Key Deliverables:
  1. Conduct a need identification and assessment of water infrastructure requirements in all 10 villages.
  2. Provide training for the community and local team on maintenance, water management, and the usage of water infrastructure.
  3. Design and execute water infrastructure projects as per requirements.
  4. Develop a long-term sustainability plan for effective water usage and management.
  5. Timely completion of all assigned projects as per the agreed timelines.
  6. Quality assurance and adherence to national and environmental standards.
  7. Comprehensive training and manuals for local water committees on maintenance and operation.
  8. Warranty and maintenance support for the installed infrastructure.
Eligibility Criteria for Vendors:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in water infrastructure projects, including design and implementation of watershed and drinking water systems.
  • Proven expertise in implementing solar-powered water systems and sustainable water management solutions.
  • Commitment to quality and timely delivery.
    Must have relevant certifications and approvals for water infrastructure projects.
  • Prior experience in rural development projects will be an added advantage.

  1. Company profile, including previous experience in similar projects.
  2. Technical proposal outlining the methodology and approach.
  3. Detailed financial quotation, including GST.
  4. Certifications and compliance documents.
  5. At least two references from previous projects.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Proven expertise and relevant experience.
  2. Cost-effectiveness and sustainability of the proposed solutions.
  3. Commitment to quality and timely execution.
  4. Positive references and past performance reviews.
