Need:

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) seeks qualified vendors for the development and implementation of smart school infrastructure across villages in the Trimbakeshwar block, Nashik. This project aims to modernize educational facilities by incorporating advanced learning tools and digital infrastructure, enhancing educational outcomes for students in rural communities. The selected vendor will also provide ongoing technical support, training, and after-sales service to ensure successful long-term use and maintenance of the installed equipment.

About SSP Organization: Established in 1998, Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) is a leader in rural development, working across seven states in India. SSP’s initiatives focus on Climate Resilient Farming, Clean Energy, Water and Sanitation, Health and Nutrition, and Women’s Entrepreneurship. SSP has positively impacted over 6 million people across 3,274 villages in 30 districts.
About The Project: In collaboration with Mankind Pharma, SSP is implementing a Smart School Development Project in Trimbakeshwar block in Nashik district of Maharashtra to provide rural students with modern educational tools. This initiative will enhance learning through digital resources, encourage technological literacy, and foster interactive, student-centred learning environments. The project will also train local educators in the effective use of technology in classrooms.
Assignment in Brief: Supply, install, and commission digital classroom infrastructure and train local educators on the operation and maintenance of smart school equipment.

Outputs and Deliverables:
1. Supply and Installation:
  • Digital classroom equipment, including interactive boards, projectors, audio-visual systems, and smart devices.
  • Comprehensive installation across targeted villages in the Trimbakeshwar block.

2. Training and Support:

  • Conduct training for teachers and school staff on digital tools, lesson planning, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide user manuals and guides in local languages.
  • Offer technical support and after-sales service.
3. Quality Assurance:
  • Equipment must meet national and international standards.
  • Minimum 5-year warranty with maintenance responsibility during the warranty period.
4. Delivery and Installation Timeline:
  • Completion as per the mutually agreed schedule.
5. Payment Terms:
  • 50% on contract signing, 25% on delivery, and 25% upon installation completion.
6.Confidentiality and Liability:
  • Adherence to confidentiality; indemnity against liabilities related to equipment.
  • Termination with a 30-day notice; force majeure provisions apply.

Contract Period:

The contract will run until March 2026, with the potential for extension based on project requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

SSP seeks experienced vendors with a background in educational technology, specifically:

  • Proven Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in smart school installations.
  • Quality Assurance: Commitment to reliable, high-quality equipment and services.
