Invitation for Vendors: Supply & Installation of Medical Equipment, Infrastructure & IEC Materials

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) invites vendors, suppliers, and service providers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the supply and installation of medical equipment, infrastructure, and IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials at Anjeneri PHC, Billmal Sub-Center, Samundi Sub-Center, and Sapgaon Sub-Center. This initiative aims to enhance healthcare services and community awareness in rural areas.

Established in 1998, Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) has evolved into a leader in rural development, operating in seven Indian states. SSP focuses on healthcare, women’s entrepreneurship, climate-resilient farming, clean energy, water & sanitation, and nutrition, reaching over 6 million people in 3,274 villages across 30 districts.

About the Prosper Project

The Prosper Project is a key initiative of SSP aimed at enhancing healthcare services across 10 villages, ensuring accessible and high-quality medical facilities in underserved communities.

Objectives of the Prosper Project:

  • Strengthening Healthcare Infrastructure – Developing and upgrading 1- PHCs & 3-Sub-Centers.
  • Ensuring Quality Medical Services – Providing essential medical equipment for better diagnosis & treatment.
  • Community Health Awareness – Implementing IEC programs for preventive healthcare education.
  • Sustainable Health Interventions – Focusing on women, children, and vulnerable populations.

Assignment in Brief

SSP seeks qualified vendors for the supply and installation of medical equipment, infrastructure, and IEC materials at Anjeneri PHC, Billmal Sub-Center, Samundi Sub-Center, and Sapgaon Sub-Center.

Outputs & Deliverables :

Selected vendors will be responsible for:

  1. Medical Equipment
    • Delivery tables, diagnostic kits, OPD kits, wheelchairs.
    • Weighing machines, resuscitators, and essential medical tools.
    • Testing and demonstration of equipment functionality.
  2. Infrastructure Development
    • Supply and installation of office furniture (tables, chairs, storage cupboards).
    • Setup of RO water systems, tin sheds, fire extinguishers.
    • Wall repairs and CCTV installation for security.
  3. IEC Materials
    • Production & delivery of pamphlets, posters, flipcharts.
    • Creation of digital educational content for community awareness.
    • Installation & distribution at designated healthcare centers.
  4. Documentation & Compliance
    • User manuals & operational guidelines for medical equipment.
    • Warranty & service agreements.
    • Completion report with photographs & proof of installation.

Contract Period

  1. Supply & Installation Phase
    • Completion of delivery, installation, and testing within the agreed timeline.
    • Handover to the respective healthcare facilities.
  2. Warranty & Maintenance Period
    • Vendors must provide a minimum warranty period.
    • Repairs, replacements, and support must be ensured during this period.
  3. Final Handover & Compliance
    • Submission of completion reports, warranties, and documentation.
    • Verification & approval by SSP’s Management Committee.

Vendor Qualification & Eligibility

Interested vendors must meet the following criteria:

  1. Business Registration & Compliance
    • Must be a legally registered entity with valid GST & PAN numbers.
    • Compliance with government & industry standards for medical and health infrastructure.
  2. Experience & Track Record
    • Proven experience in medical equipment supply & installation.
    • Prior involvement in healthcare or community projects.
    • Ability to provide references from previous clients.
  3. Product & Service Quality
    • Supply of high-quality, durable, and certified medical equipment.
    • Experience in healthcare infrastructure development.
    • Ability to develop effective IEC materials for community education.
  4. Capacity & Timely Delivery
    • Sufficient resources & manpower to complete work on time.
    • Post-installation support, including warranty & maintenance services.

Preference will be given to vendors with a proven track record in healthcare projects and successful past collaborations with SSP.

Selection Process

A shortlist of up to three vendors will be established based on EOI submissions. Evaluation criteria include:

  • Proven Expertise – Success in similar projects.
  • Quality Assurance & Sustainability – Commitment to high standards.
  • Cost-Effectiveness – Financial offers providing the best value.

Preference will be given to vendors with prior experience working with SSP. The final selection will be made by SSP’s Management Committee, with potential telephonic interviews for shortlisted candidates.

    • Legal & Compliance Documents – Registration certificates, GST & PAN details.
    • Past Experience & References – Details of similar projects, with references.
    • Financial Proposal:
      • Price quotations including GST.
      • Warranty & service period details.
      • Timeline-based cost proposal.
