Supply and install smokeless 1000 cook stoves units across 3 years in 10 villages in Trimbakeshwar Block in Nashik district in Maharashtra through local clean energy entrepreneurship model

Project Overview:

Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), in collaboration with Mankind Pharma, is undertaking a comprehensive development project aimed at enhancing the quality of life in 10 villages within the Trimbakeshwar block. A key component of this initiative is to provide smokeless cook stoves to households, promoting clean energy usage, improving health outcomes, and reducing environmental impact.

Scope of the work:

Scope of Work: We are seeking experienced vendors to supply and install smokeless 1000 cook stoves unit across 3 years in 10 villages through local clean entrepreneurship model that are:

  • Environmentally Friendly: Must significantly reduce indoor air pollution and fuel consumption.
  • Durable and User-Friendly: Designed for rural settings, easy to operate and maintain.
  • Cost-Effective: Affordable solutions that offer long-term savings for the community. We are looking for Cookstove cost around Rs 2000 per unit.
Vendor Responsibilities:
  1. Supply of Smokeless Cook Stoves:
    • Provide stoves that meet or exceed the specified technical and safety standards.
    • Ensure stoves are suitable for the cooking habits and needs of rural households. Community is generally use forest and agriculture wood
  2. Training and Support:
    • Conduct training sessions for beneficiaries on the correct usage and maintenance of the stoves to local clean entrepreneurs. This local clean entrepreneur will give the marketing, installation and service support to beneficiaries
    • Provide user manuals and support materials in local languages.
  3. Delivery and Installation:
    • Coordinate the timely delivery and installation of stoves across all designated villages.
    • Ensure installations are done in a manner that maximizes the efficiency and lifespan of the stoves.
  4. Quality Assurance and After-Sales Service:
    • Offer a warranty period and after-sales service to address any issues that may arise.
    • Provide regular follow-ups to ensure the stoves are functioning as intended.

Submission Requirements: Interested vendors should submit a detailed proposal that includes:

  • Company Profile: Background, expertise, and experience in providing similar products, especially in rural settings.
  • Product Details: Technical specifications, certifications, and benefits of the smokeless cook stoves being offered.
  • Cost Proposal: Detailed pricing including unit cost, installation charges, and any additional fees.
  • Implementation Plan: Timeline for delivery, installation, and training.
  • References: Case studies or references from previous projects where similar products were supplied.

Selection Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:

  • Product Quality: Compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
  • Vendor Experience: Proven track record in similar projects.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Competitive pricing while maintaining quality.
  • Implementation Capability: Ability to meet project timelines and provide comprehensive support.
