Job Summary: :

We are seeking an experienced IT & MIS Head to lead our technology initiatives for multiple projects consolidating to the dashboard and support our mission. The IT & MIS Head will oversee the management of back-office tools, program MIS, hardware, infrastructure, security, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for using technology to drive social impact.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Back Office Tools:

Manage and implement HRMS, Accounting, and other tools to streamline operations.
Ensure seamless integration and data accuracy across systems.

2. Program MIS:

Design and implement a robust Program Management Information System (MIS).
Develop and maintain dashboards with cumulative numbers, reports, and analytics to support program decisions.

3. Hardware and Infrastructure:

Oversee the management of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

4. Security:

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security policy and protocols.
Ensure data privacy and protection from cyber threats.

5. Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with technology vendors.
Negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and monitor performance.

6. Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

7. Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with SSP’s goals.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements:

1. Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in the NGO sector.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, software development, creating organization’s MIS dashboards with cumulative numbers, data analytics, cloud data platforms, Government’s data protection and use policy principles and security.

4. Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and managing complex projects.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
