Program manager will be located at SSP’s Headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra. Need based Travel to SSP’s field areas is essential part of the assignment.
Contract Period for the consultancy will be for six months or the project period based on performance and at the sole discretion of Swayam Shikshan Prayog management targeted starting date is 23rd December 2020. Contract will be governed by standard terms of service contracts of the organization. And will be shared with shortlisted candidates upon request.
Intelligent and dynamic Program Manager Job Description : Key Responsibilities for this position include Facilitating and Monitoring result oriented implementation of assigned projects. Periodic Internal and Donor Reporting on Project progress.
Job will involve continuing interaction with Project teams, periodic on-field assessment of project progress, study project activities data, draw meaningful conclusions and provide inputs for further planning.
He/she will also be responsible for project documentation, creation of knowledge and advocacy materials and general communication with government and donors. Position reports to Director Operations Requirements Timeline : Immediate
Post Graduation degree with first class in relevant field from a well known Institution with keen interest in social development.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience. Age : 30-35 years Only candidates meeting these criteria should apply. We are looking for a candidate who can work independently & is driven by deep interest in the social sector, learning & innovation with an investigative mind.
Candidate must possess ability to coordinate with field teams, ability to interpret data & prepare meaningful, actionable reports & must possess above average command on spoken & written English. Knowledge of Marathi will be an added advantage. Compensation will be in line with prevailing norms in social sector
A shortlist of maximum three consultants will be established based on expressions of interest.
The shortlist will be evaluated on the following criteria on the basis of their updated resume, financial offer and their reference check by Swayam Shikshan Prayog: Academic qualifications Years of project management and relevant economic development /sector experience Experience in working with international organizations and Government Language proficiency (English, Hindi, Marathi).
Preference will be given to candidates having successfully handled similar assignment. Weightage will also be given to candidates with whom SSP had prior satisfactory association. Final selection will be by a Management Committee of SSP, who may telephonically interview the shortlisted candidates and decision of the Committee will be final and binding. Only shortlisted candidates shall be contacted.
